Pslam 139:7-12

I've been reading these books Dragons in our midst. I think they're great and have met the author twice. But I never asked him how a certain song in it goes. I've been wondering since I read the first one. The today I decided, Heck, I'll make up my own. I love the verses that the song comes from.

Whither Shall I go? (Psalm 139:7-12)By Kaitie Merker

Intro(finger picked)

Whither shall I go from Thy Spirit? Or whither shall I flee from Thy presence?

Chorus
If I ascend up into heaven, Thou art there: If I make my bed in hell, behold, Thou art there.

Vs. 1
If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
Even there shall Thy hand lead me, and Thy right hand shall hold me.

(Chorus)

Vs. 2

If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
Yea, the darkness hideth not from Thee; but the night shineth as the day:

Bridge
The darkness and the light are both alike to Thee(x2) (only sing this first time through)

(Chorus first time through)

Ending:(Finger picked)

Whither shall I go from Thy Spirit? Or whither shall I flee from Thy presence?(fade out)

*bows*
I guess I need to get a mic so I can record it. :P

This concludes your Kaitie update for the day. Until next time, space cadets. *salutes*

Urk.

It's late...or rather, early. I learned most of Romans 6 today while I was waiting for people to show up for practice. I'm going to bed now.

NSA

I went to the National Security Agency this weekend, it was pretty sweet...What? That's not what NSA stands for? Oops. :D

But seriously the quiz meet was awesome! I didn't do nearly as well in quizzing as the last two, but talking with people and seeing everyone was great as always.

Memories:

Not so good:
-Being stuck in crazy traffic on Friday night.
-2 words: Minty Pasta. >.>
-Not knowing chapters 7-9.
Good:-Being one of the few people there NOT thinking about the Seahawks.
-Quizzing out once and getting a sticker! Thanks Kerri!
-Gryphon and Shari being there.
-Food people:"Meat or meatless?"
Me:"What kind of question is that?"
-The chugging contests at lunch. *looks cautiosly at Andrew*
-Losing horribly at tetris and then beating Chris at Crusin' Usa.
-Everyone trying Alyssa's watermelon club soda.
-Everyone trying Skylar's razzberry club soda. :P
-Being co-coach for Grays harbor during con A champs.
-Jumping in puddles til I couldn't feel my feet.
-"Fish is not potato." -Cyra
-Making Championships!
-Having the same hosthome as last year.
-Playing 5 rounds of mafia on friday night.
-The hosts making me play Psychiatrist and me not figuring it out for like a hour.
-Talking to Christy until 2am.
-Getting my first silver medal.
-Bethany and I being really weird during champs. XD
-Doing a Star wars quiz and actually getting the last one right.
-Lots of people cheering for us during champs!

Sparkies!

Yesterday was our first week of awana after christmas break. I signed up late and so I had only been there once. While we were waiting for gametime, all the sparks were sitting on the steps trying not to squirm to much. I sat with my group at the bottom and asked them some questions about sparky. Kindergarteners crack me up, they have the best answers for stuff. Well, we went down to gametime and the kids found out that know a thing or too about the games they play. :)
Since I came late and missed handbooktime the only thing left was council time and while we were in there, this little girl named Grace who I had talked to on the stairs came up to me and asked if she could sit on my lap. She was so cute. As we were sitting there, I noticed that most of the leaders sit in the back on chairs while the kids sit on the floor. I wondered why, since at 5-day clubs we're always sitting right next to the kids. Well, Awana was great and now I'm glad my mom signed me up, but I'm sorry I didn't do it sooner.

By-the-by, this is my 40th post. :D
