Writing....wrote the first bit and then added more on like a month later

Breathe

Cold Pavement at my back, sweat on my forehead. There's no telling how long I've been lying here. I feel more liquid, blood. memories blur and fade, staying awake seems impossible. Breathe, breathe. Everything is quiet, I can hear my thoughts as clearly as if they were being spoken to me, "How'd I get here? What happened? Don't lose hope. Keep breathing." That seems to be the motto of my life, keep breathing. Life hasn't excatly been a picnic for me, And this is no exception. Even finding strength to get up in the morning I find myself saying daily...keep breathing.

I close my eyes. Thoughts from my life rush through my memory. Then, they slow as they reach today. I see everything happen again. slowly.

"You'll be late for school!" The alarm clock next to my bed is blinking 12. I'm dazed and not quite awake. I roll out of bed and remember that I forgot to set the time after I plugged the clock in last night. "Do you hear me young man?" as if I could avoid it, she was talking so loud, the kids in China were covering their ears. I groan and yell; "I'm up already!" I check my watch, 7:45. I still had 15 minutes before I had to leave. I groan again as I pull on a shirt and a pair of jeans, ruffle my hair, and sit down at my desk. I pull out a clean sheet of paper and a pencil and start writing. George washington Carver, An amazing man and an excellent farmer, A exaustivly reserched report by Kyle Lewis- "I'm not going to call you again!" I'll bet. Check my watch again, 7:58. Time to go downstairs and eat what my mom calls "breakfast". I call it disgusting. Every morning she makes a pot of oatmeal large enough to feed the entire seahawks team, and she makes me eat until 2 bowls are empty. luckily, she doesn't watch me the whole time and I can usually sneak it to the garbage. As I leave the kitchen I grab my bag and stuff my books into it. I'll write the rest of that report later. It's not due until 6th period. But that isn't really what's on my mind as I walk to school slowly. Alone. Someone calls my name as I near the school, but I'm not really paying attention. Just thinking....

When I look at you

I can see the person inside
The person who's not afriad of change
The one who's ready for anything
No matter what comes thier way

I can see the person that is
free from all darkness and sin
The person who's never backing down
The one who the battle will win

I can see God's handiwork
when I look into your eyes
I can see His love abound
when you hold out your hand to the poor
I see His mercy in your life
when you bow your head and pray
I can see His Strength in your soul
when troubles come your way

What's going to happen tomorrow?

Yes, a question asked far too many times. And it seems to always be accompanied with 5 or 6 others...

What's going to happen to me? Where is my life going? Who am I going to marry? Am I going to get married? How will this job turn out? We all have a million and a half questions that go through our heads. Why don't we leave things up to God? Why do we always have to know?
In the book of James, he says, "Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money." Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that."

And in the book of Matthew Jesus tells us to not worry about tomorrow. If God took so much trouble to tell us not to try to know everything, maybe we should listen. We all want to be all-knowing, it's in our nature. We're all born with that wanting to be better then everyone else.

We're supposed to trust God! Not worry whether he'll pull through or not.

I guess that's all I had to say.....I've been thinking about those verses recently and had to put some thoughts down somewhere.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknoledge him, and he will make your paths straight." ~Proverbs 3:5-6
May God bless you in everything,

Neglecting

Ok, so I haven't updated in a looooong time. The reason is that it's a lot easier for me to blog while checking myspace so I just do it on there and I make less logins. I think I'll post some of the stuff on here though, because I know some people read this that don't read myspace.
