Party time!

I don't feel well. Bah. I hate getting sick. Especially because our house is so darn cold.

The annual Bible quizzing dress-up party is next Tuesday and I finally got around to making wings for Josh out of those tights(He's going as Cosmo from Fairly odd parents). I need to go shopping for the material for my costume sometime in the next few days. Hah. Talk about waiting till the last minute.

I thought this deserved it's own post

"Hey Josh, I was in the little girl's department and I thought of you."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah, here are your tights."

My family is weird. 'nuf said.

The ocean, the shore, and so much more.

I'm leaving home for three days...er maybe 4 to help with a catering job down in Ocean shores. My mom and I are leaving at 5 tonight and will be back sometime Thursday evening...unless we end up staying for Friday which is not likely.

But anyway, back to the catering. We're serving 8 meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, breakfast, lunch, dinner, breakfast, and lunch (in that order). It's going to be a lot of work but still fun because Kaelyn and Lauren are doing it too.

Oh, and two more things:
1. I like it when Taget has all their clothes on clearance.
2. I hate finding shoes in my size. Especially comfy black ones for catering. Curse my large feet!

ABC do re mi

I haven't posted in a long while.

The quiz meet this weekend was a blast! I got to see all my friends and I made tons of new ones. I love quizzers. They're so awesome. And as for the quizzing part of the meet. I amazed and shocked myself with getting 1st place. And what made it even sweeter was that Becky got second. =D

Yesterday I forgot that Kent doesn't practice the day after a meet and I went over to Kaelyn's. They weren't going anywhere though, so they invited me to hang out. We talked for a good 2 hours about just about everything and I borrowed "Just like heaven" and the new Pride and Prejudice.

I made chocolate covered pretzels today. They're like the easiest dessert to make ever. And they don't take a recipe.

On a side note, for those of you who don't know. My stuffed Appa came all the way from Ohio on Friday. Joy! He's so snuggable.

Pictures to come from the quiz meet. Hopefully soon.
